Thule Lenneiye

Thule Lenneiye is a Keyan national and serves as AGRA’s Chief of Staff. In her current role as Thule is part of the leadership team steering the organization’s evolution into a more efficient, proactive Africa-led institution. She ensures that AGRA’s initiatives are strategically aligned with the continent’s sustainable development and food security goals, leveraging her expertise to integrate digital and climate-smart solutions into food systems transformation.
Thule Lenneiye is a recognized expert in food systems, climate action, and digital transformation, with a proven record of driving agricultural innovation and investment across Africa.
With extensive experience in the digitalization of agriculture and the operationalization of strategies, Thule has advised governments across Eastern and Southern Africa on agriculture and agribusiness investment. Her contributions were instrumental in shaping investment compacts for six countries, mobilizing over USD 5 billion in opportunities, and fostering critical dialogue between governments and investors to accelerate sector growth.
As Coordinator of the Agriculture Transformation Office (ATO) at Kenya’s Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Cooperatives, Thule championed partnerships and spearheaded digital innovations that modernized sector operations, improving service delivery and expanding economic opportunities nationwide. She played a pivotal role in donor coordination, engaging new partners and unlocking additional support, creating a more inclusive environment for agricultural transformation.
