Chief Operating Officer

Fola, a Nigerian national, serves as AGRA’s Chief Operating Officer. An engineer by training, he holds an MBA from London Business School and has completed executive leadership and management programmes at Harvard University, The Aspen Institute, and the University of Tulsa.

He has more than 25 years of experience across Africa and internationally, spanning multiple sectors, with deep operational, strategic, financial, and commercial expertise developed through senior leadership roles in large multinational organizations. His career includes appointments as Chief Executive Officer for the East Africa region, Global Chief Operating Officer, Regional Vice President for Africa and the Caribbean, Regional Vice President for Europe and the CIS, Chief Executive Officer for South East Africa, and Regional Cluster Manager for South East Asia.

Prior to joining AGRA, Fola was Founder and Managing Partner at The Red Iroko Group, an Africa-focused investment advisory firm based in Mauritius.

He has worked extensively across more than 12 countries, including Algeria, Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, South Africa, and Zambia, as well as Indonesia and Thailand in Asia, and France and the United Kingdom in Europe.
