Knowledge & awareness raising is fostering communication and information exchange in order to improve mutual understanding as well as mobilising communities and alliances to bring about the agriculture transformation of food systems.

To strengthen investment mobilization and capacity through awareness raising and advocacy, AGRA Partnerships is doing the following

Keeping the finger on the pulse of issues in the African agribusiness community through surveys, engagements, presentations and relationship management.

Spreading awareness and knowhow through event participation.

Generating knowledge products such as reports and databases to strengthen capacity.

Top 10 Priorities – Agenda for Action

 

AGRA has established an SME resource bank with materials, including pitch deck templates, financial model templates, documents providing information on the fundraising process, investor types, and funding instruments. With partner contributions of USAID, U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, Prosper Africa, GiZ, IFC and CrossBoundary the bank enhances SMEs preparedness for investment and finance conversations.

  • Circa 20,000+ actors and decision-makers in African Agribusiness were reached through this effort.
  • Through partnerships, AGRA has organized over 150 webinars and events to share its vision of empowering small holder farmers, best practices and shape the agriculture agenda.
