Overview

AGRA works with the Government and various strategic partners to increase incentives for private sector participation and investment in the agricultural sector while enhancing access to finance and markets; the adoption of climate smart technologies and use of inputs (seeds and fertilizer).

Our Investments

In this decade, AGRA built an asset base in technologies, partnerships and models that can be scaled for a significant impact on the status of inclusive agriculture in Ethiopia. Our strategy and support for Ethiopia from 2017 to 2021 seeks to bring all of these elements together to increase incomes and improve food security for 4.7 million smallholder households in the country, creating a pathway to attaining and sustaining an agricultural transformation through an investment of US$ 15.5 million.
