Head of Internal Audit
Hilary, a Kenyan national, heads AGRA’s internal audit. In this role he supports and ensures compliance with policies and procedures and provides leadership in identifying, managing and mitigating risks within the organization.
Raised among small holder farmers in the western highlands of Kenya, Hilary understands only too well the challenges faced by Africa’s family farmers. He grew up farming maize and herding cattle on his parents’ farm and is happy that he is now contributing to the improved livelihoods of African farmers through his current role at AGRA.
Hilary has a wealth of experience in audit and finance having previously worked internationally with consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers and in various Senior Management roles with investment firm Sovereign Group. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Finance) from the University of Nairobi and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as well as a Chartered Accountant (ACCA-UK). He also has a higher Diploma in ICT from the Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS-UK).

AGRA Board Member Mohohlo appointed Chancellor of the University of Botswana
President Mokgweetsi Masisi has, acting in accordance with Section 7 of the University of Botswana Act of 2008, appointed Linah Mohohlo as the Chancellor of the University of Botswana for a period of 5 years effective the 19th of July 2018 to 18 June 2023.
